Sup Tony, I was wondering. Is the teaching of kindness bound to the idea of getting back what you give? Wouldn't this be contradictory to the very core of what it stands for? Meaning, If one is kind because he wishes to get it back wouldn't this contradict the nature of his or her actions? How does Buddhism see intention? Cheers and thanks for the food for thought.
