Yves, thanks for the food for thought. Besides the business application of learning how to extract the juice from data. I wonder if you have any thoughts on techniques and practices to teach individuals to know when it is useful (on a personal level) to look for data-driven approaches to optimize their personal life. What I mean is: imagine you have your daily activities like: running, coding, reading, meditating, etc... you want to track some of this stuff to optimize your productivity, but you don't want to waste time tracking things that won't return useful information...so any thoughts on using something like entropy and information gain to leverage insights from the useful data we produce ourselves daily? Thanks for this great piece! Cheers!
